What Is PAL (Partner Admin Link)?
PAL (Partner Admin Link) is a Microsoft attribution method. A partner links its own admin identity to a customer's Microsoft cloud environment, so that Microsoft can associate that environment with the partner. What the attribution is worth, and which incentive programs read it, are set by Microsoft's program terms, which a partner reaches through the partner portal.
It matters because PAL is attribution a partner sets and maintains itself, across every customer environment it manages, so knowing where it is in place and still correct is the partner's own job.
