What Was Cisco VIP (Value Incentive Program)?
Cisco VIP (Value Incentive Program) was Cisco's back-end rebate program for partners. Cisco's current Partner Incentive rules name VIP, together with the Cisco Services Partner Program, as the historical incentive programs that the Cisco Partner Incentive replaced under Cisco 360. VIP-era orders did not stop dead: service and annuity software orders booked under the old program but not yet started or provisioned pay out under the Cisco Partner Incentive's eligibility, rules and rates instead of VIP's, and after Q4 FY26 no historical bookings are included at all.
It matters because your VIP tail is being paid on CPI's rules rather than the rules you booked it under, and that tail closes at the end of Q4 FY26.
