What Is Splunk Partnerverse?
Splunk Partnerverse is the name of Splunk's partner program: the framework Splunk uses to organize the IT solution providers that sell and support Splunk. Splunk publishes its structure. A partner picks one or more of four Motions, Sell, Manage, Build and Advise, and earns a tier inside each one: Associate, then Premier, then Elite. The tier is per Motion, not per company, and Partnerverse Badges are what move you up a tier. Separately, since Cisco acquired Splunk, Cisco's own Partner Incentive rules list "Splunk, a Cisco Company" as one of Cisco's current portfolios, and every Cisco portfolio carries its own Partner Value Index and its own eligibility.
It matters because you cannot transact Splunk at all until you hold Associate in the Sell or Manage Motion, and a Splunk reseller now has a Cisco portfolio standing to watch on top of that.
