What Is IBM Partner Plus?

IBM Partner Plus is IBM's partner program for IBM Business Partners, including resellers and systems integrators. Partners need a signed IBM Business Partner Agreement and a Partner Plus membership. Incentives are then earned deal by deal: what unlocks each one is an approved deal registration in IBM Partner Portal, how IBM classifies the end customer's account, the skill badges the partner holds when IBM runs its eligibility check, and ordering through the partner's Preferred Distributor. IBM described changes to its incentive structure in January 2026, without publishing an effective date.
